Sheridan was reported missing on Tuesday, after sheriff’s deputies went to her Orchard Dale Drive Northwest apartment for a welfare check. Inside they found evidence of foul play, authorities previously said.

Deputies found Sheridan’s live-in boyfriend, Goe, driving her SUV on Guilford Avenue Northwest and pulled him over, according to the release. Goe then fled on foot.

State and local authorities launched “extensive search efforts” by ground and air and finally arrested Goe in the early hours of Wednesday, July 3, at a homeless shelter, according to the release.

After police executed a search warrant at Sheridan’s home and interviewed Goe, they determined he murdered her inside the apartment.

City sanitation workers found her body in a park on the city’s southwest side later that morning.
