Security camera footage shows deadly shooting at Mobile gas station, police say

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying the vehicle and person seen on a surveillance camera shooting a gun in what police called a homicide.
Today, the MPD released a video showing the incident that police say happened Thursday, Aug. 15, at a Chevron at 4126 Moffett Road.

In the video, a red car can be seen circling the pumps at a gas station.
As that car approaches the front of the store, security camera footage shows what appears to be a person leaning out of the car window and pointing a gun at a black car.
Police say the security camera footage was released about a homicide.
The department said in a release, “We need your help identifying the red suspect vehicle and/or the occupants inside.”
News 5 previously reported that a man was killed when a vehicle entering the parking lot fired a gun, striking the man, a vehicle, a gas pump, and a home near the Chevron at 4126 Moffett Road around 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15.
