Trump, Harris are ramping up their travel in Wisconsin. See all the places they've been
Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have ramped up their travel in Wisconsin in the final sprint to the November election.
Over the past two months, each of the four Democratic and Republican presidential and vice presidential candidates have fanned out across the battleground state, which will be critical on the path to the White House.
Here's a timeline of their campaign stops, starting with the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July. Days after the convention, President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, and Harris became the Democrats' new nominee.
July 15-18: Trump visits Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention
Trump arrived in Milwaukee for the 2024 RNC after narrowly surviving an assassination attempt no more than 48 hours earlier. In his nomination acceptance speech, the former president opened with a unifying tone but then devolved into attacks on his rivals.
He named Ohio Republican U.S. Sen. JD Vance as his running mate during the Milwaukee convention.

July 23: Harris holds first rally as presidential candidate in West Allis
Two days after President Joe Biden exited the race, Vice President Kamala Harris held her first rally as a presidential candidate in West Allis.
In her speech at West Allis Central High School, Harris spoke about gun violence, abortion rights and building up the middle class.
Aug. 7: Harris and Walz hold rally in Eau Claire just miles away from Vance
Harris made her first joint appearance in the state with her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, in Eau Claire on Aug. 7.
Vance, meanwhile, made his first official campaign stop in Wisconsin since accepting the Republican vice presidential nomination about the same time Harris and Walz spoke — and no more than 4 miles down the road.
Aug. 16: Vance speaks at Milwaukee Police Association
Vance spoke at the Milwaukee Police Association a week later, seeking to tie illegal immigration directly to crime in Milwaukee.
Research, however, shows immigrant communities tend to have lower crime rates than U.S. citizens.
Aug. 20: Harris and Walz campaign in Milwaukee while Vance speaks in Kenosha
For the second time this campaign, the two parties held rallies on the same day in Wisconsin.
Harris and Walz rallied thousands of supporters in Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum on the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Harris' opening remarks were live streamed into Chicago's United Center, and attendees in Milwaukee watched the proceedings in Chicago, as well.
Earlier in the day, Vance spoke on crime and public safety in Kenosha.
Aug. 28: Vance makes campaign stop in De Pere
Vance made a campaign stop in De Pere, near Green Bay, and contrasted the two parties' economic plans to combat inflation.
Aug. 29: Trump holds town hall in La Crosse
Trump held a town hall in La Crosse, his first visit to Wisconsin since the Republican National Convention.
During the town hall, Trump addressed questions from pre-selected attendees on stage.
Sept. 2: Walz rallies union workers in Milwaukee
Tim Walz visited Milwaukee during Laborfest to speak to union workers, a key Democratic constituency.
Sept. 7: Trump makes fiery speech in Mosinee
At a rally in Mosinee in central Wisconsin, Trump pledged to end the Russia-Ukraine war and abolish the U.S. Department of Education.
Sept. 13: Walz stops in Wausau
Walz stopped in central Wisconsin to speak to volunteers and supporters. He visited a Ukrainian bakery and spoke with Ukrainians who fled the country after Russia's invasion.
Sept. 14: Walz arrives in Superior as part of two-day swing
A day after his stop in Wausau, Walz crossed his home state's eastern border to speak to a crowd at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Sept. 17: Vance makes second visit to Eau Claire
Vance made his second campaign stop in Eau Claire since becoming Trump's running mate.
Sept. 20: Harris makes first visit to Madison as nominee
Harris made her first visit Madison as Democrats' presidential nominee. She rallied more than 10,000 supporters in the state's Democratic stronghold key to Democrats' statewide success. She encouraged the crowd to "energize, to organize and to mobilize."
Sept. 28: Trump hammers on immigration in Prairie du Chien
Trump returned to western Wisconsin to deliver what he acknowledged was a "dark" speech on immigration. He called illegal immigration a bigger issue than the economy because it has to do with "the fabric of our country." He continued to level personal attacks against Harris.
Oct. 1: Trump swings by Wisconsin's liberal strongholds
Trump visited the blue strongholds of Dane and Milwaukee Counties in an effort to cut into the heavy Democratic advantages in the areas. He stoped in Waunakee and at Discovery World in Milwaukee.
Oct. 3: Harris campaigns in Ripon with former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney
Harris swept into Ripon, known as the birthplace of the Republican Party, with one of Trump's fiercest GOP critics in tow.
Former Wyoming Republican U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, who was shunned from her party over her criticism of the former president, underscored Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election and caste Trump as a threat to democracy. Both Cheney and her father, former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney, endorsed Harris in September.
Oct. 6: Trump visits Juneau
Trump made his fourth stop in Wisconsin in eight days with a visit to Juneau in Dodge County. He spoke of the election in dire terms and highlighted the sizes of his crowds, at one point showing attendees his crowd size in Pennsylvania the day before.
Oct: 14: Walz makes two-city swing through Eau Claire, Green Bay
Walz returned to Eau Claire in mid-October. He rallied at UW-Eau Claire, telling young voters, “I think it’s very realistic to believe that this race will be won going through Wisconsin and going through some of these counties," according to WEAU.
He then stopped in Green Bay alongside Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, according to WPR.
Oct. 16: Harris in La Crosse, Green Bay and Milwaukee
Harris returned to the battleground state on Oct. 16, crisscrossing Wisconsin with stops in Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay with less than three weeks to go in the presidential race.
Oct: 20: Vance in Waukesha County
Vance held a rally at Stein’s Aircraft Services near the Waukesha County Airport. He delivered remarks aimed at turning out Wisconsin's large number of Catholic voters.
Oct. 21: Harris in Brookfield with Liz Cheney
Harris returned to Wisconsin with former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney as part of a push from the campaign to zero-in on undecided voters and Republicans skeptical of Trump. The held a conversation in Brookfield moderated by conservative radio host Charlie Sykes.
Oct. 22: Walz rallies voters in Madison with Barack Obama, travels to Racine
Former President Barack Obama appeared alongside Walz in Madison on the first day of in-person early voting in Wisconsin. Walz later visited Racine.
Oct. 28: Vance in Racine and Wausau
Vance's stops in Racine and Wausau followed a controversial rally at Madison Square Garden in New York in which one speaker made racist jokes about Puerto Rico and Latinos. Vance during his visit said he "didn't hear" the remarks.
Oct. 28: Walz in Waukesha and Manitowoc
Walz spoke in Waukesha with Republican Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly before addressing supporters in northeast Wisconsin at Manitowoc Pattern and Machining.
Oct. 30: Harris in Madison with musical guests
Harris swept into Madison in the final days of the campaign with top music stars in tow. She was joined by Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf, and Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner from The National.
Oct. 30: Trump rallies in Green Bay
Trump wore an orange safety vest and spoke to the press from a garbage truck in his visit to Green Bay in which he sought to turn the tables on comments made at his rally in New York just days earlier disparaging Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”
Republicans during the rally zeroed in on comments from Biden calling Trump supporters "garbage."
Nov. 1: Harris blitzes Janesville, Little Chute and Milwaukee
Harris made her last push in the battleground state with a three-city swing that ended in Milwaukee, just miles down the road from Trump.
Nov. 1: Trump rallies at Fiserv Forum, 6 miles from Harris
Trump gave a meandering closing message to Wisconsin with a rally at Fiserv Forum. Microphone issues irked Trump during his speech.
Nov. 4: Vance to rally in La Crosse a day before the election
Vance is set to rally supporters in La Crosse the day before the election.
Nov. 4: Walz to blitz La Crosse, Stevens Point and Milwaukee
Walz and his wife, Gwen Walz, were set to blitz La Crosse, Stevens Point and Milwaukee on Monday.
