See the finalists for the East Baton Rouge Schools superintendent
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Finalists for the next East Baton Rouge School superintendent were announced at an East Baton Rouge School Board special meeting on Friday, June 28.
Seventeen applicants originally applied for the superintendent position in EBR Parish.
According to EBR Schools, the three candidates who got the most votes moved on as finalists. They are Kevin George, Andrea Zayas and Krish Mohip.
Sito Narcisse stepped down from the role in January, saying it was time for a new leader to continue the work. Smith was approved by the school board as the school system’s interim superintendent in January.

The new superintendent is expected to be announced during a school board special meeting on Thursday, July 11, according to EBR Schools.
