BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Hurricane Francine moved through Louisiana causing power outages in and around the Baton Rouge area.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Francine was a Category 2 storm with sustained winds of 100 mph.
The storm was predicted to bring heavy rain and strong winds with the potential to cause flooding and power outages across the state.
Parishes statewide have implemented curfews for non-essential residents.
Entergy and Demco have prepared resources after the storm has passed and it is safe.
Anyone who needs to report a power outage can do so on the Demco and Entergy websites.

Entergy Louisiana
The Entergy Louisiana outage map shows how many customers are without power in the state.
Entergy has customers in Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana parishes.
Entergy also services New Orleans, Mississippi, Texas and Arkansas.
DEMCO
The DEMCO outage map shows they service more than 117,600 residents.
DEMCO serves customers in Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Helena and West Feliciana parishes.
