Several agencies respond to structure fire in Chapmansboro

CHAPMANSBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, along with several other agencies, responded to a structure fire at around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The department said that Ashland City Fire, the Cheatham County Emergency Management Agency and the Cheatham County Sheriff’s office assisted with the call. When units first arrived, they were reportedly met with heavy fire coming from all sides of a single family home.

“Firefighters worked for several hours extinguishing fire and cooling hot spots,” a Facebook post from the department read.

The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
