Several pets rescued from a fire in a Wisconsin neighborhood
JACKSON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say they rescued several pets after a home caught on fire early Sunday morning in Wisconsin.
According to a release from the Jackson Fire Department, crews responded at 1:13 a.m. to a home in the Green Valley Manufactured Homes neighborhood for reports of a fire.
Once on the scene, officials say they saw the roof of the home on fire and immediately began working to put the fire out.

Firefighters then entered the home and were able to save several pets as they continued to check for any additional fire in the attic area.
A single resident was home at the time of the fire and was able to exit safely, however, the inside of the home is said to have ended up with moderate damage.
Officials say crews were on the scene for approximately two hours and determined the cause of the fire to be unintentional.
No additional information is available at this time and an investigation of the incident is ongoing.
