Sheboygan Police Department investigating incident that left bicyclist with “significant injuries”

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Sheboygan say they are investigating a situation that left a bicyclist with “significant injuries” early Sunday morning.

According to a release from the Sheboygan Police Department, officers found a bicyclist around 5:30 a.m. lying hurt in the roadway at the intersection of South 8th Street and Spring Avenue.

Police say they need the public’s help in figuring out what happened in this incident and ask anyone who was traveling in the area and may have seen what happened to contact the department.

Officials add that the person who is responsible for this incident should do the right thing and come forward.
