Sheffield police officer charged with domestic violence against fiancé

SHEFFIELD, Ala. (WHNT) — A Sheffield police officer has been charged with domestic violence following an incident, according to the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday, July 14 around 10:35 p.m., the Sheffield Police Department (SPD) requested that the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) investigate a domestic violence call involving two Sheffield police officers.

Officers say Kelsey Quesenberry and her fiancé Zack Williams had an argument that turned physical.

The CCSO says Quesenberry was arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence against Williams. Her additional charges are child endangerment and interfering with a domestic violence call.

She has been placed on administrative leave following an internal investigation by the Sheffield Police Department.
