Man fatally shot in New Orleans East
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a man in New Orleans East on Sunday, Aug. 11.
The NOPD reported officers responded to the 10800 block of Chef Menteur Highway around 1:33 p.m., where they found a man lying in front of a business suffering with multiple gunshot wounds.
Man arrested following Troop NOLA pursuit, drug bust
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Orleans Parish coroner identified the victim as 23-year-old Desean Leggett on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
