Silver Alert canceled for missing Cheektowaga man

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Silver Alert issued Friday morning has been canceled for a Cheektowaga man that was last seen on Thursday night and has since been found.

Paris A. Cotton, 62, was last seen on Eggert Road around 9 p.m. Thursday. He is a Black male standing at 5-foot-5, 190 pounds, bald with brown eyes who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or related cognitive disorders.

Cotton was located and returned to his family by the Cheektowaga Police Department, officials announced Friday afternoon.
