Silver City High School teacher accused of having sexual relationship with student
SILVER CITY, N.M. (KRQE) – A Silver City High School teacher was arrested on Thursday accused of having a sexual relationship with a student. According to court documents, Felix Thompson admitted to police that he had an inappropriate relationship with a student but claimed it wasn’t sexual and he put a stop to it.

The victim told a different story saying they didn’t have sex but did sexual things. Police said text messages between the two confirmed the victim’s story.
Thompson is facing 19 felony charges, including six counts of criminal sexual penetration, 12 counts of criminal sexual contact, and tampering with evidence. He was released under the supervision of pretrial services.
