Sisters attacked after dad held at gunpoint in East Memphis: MPD
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is now in jail after police say he pistol-whipped his ex-girlfriend and shot her sister after holding their dad at gunpoint in East Memphis two months ago.
Alvin Lloyd, 27, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault. His bond was set at $100,000.
On May 11, Memphis Police responded to McDuff Avenue regarding a shooting call. The victim stated he was in front of his house when he was approached by two armed men, later identified as Alvin Lloyd and his brother Dalvin Lloyd.
As the two suspects held the victim at gunpoint, they told him to call his daughter and ask her to come over, police say.
The victim’s two daughters both arrived in a White Nissan Maxima. That is when Alvin, armed with two handguns, approached the passenger side, yelling and beating on the car window.

Reports state that Alvin opened the passenger side door and pointed the gun at both women before pistol-whipping his ex-girlfriend in the head. That is when the gun went off, striking the sister in the stomach.
As the women drove away from the scene, Alvin and Dalvin allegedly fired several shots at them.
The sisters drove to Regional One Hospital where they were treated for their injuries. One sister had a gash above her right eye and the other had a gunshot wound in her stomach.
Police say there was a bullet hole in the driver’s door of the Nissan Maxima and nine spent bullet casings were recovered at the scene.
