Sito Narcisse sends letter of interest for East Baton Rouge Schools superintendent job
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Sito Narcisse, who stepped down as superintendent of East Baton Rouge Parish Schools in January, has filed a letter of interest for the same position he left earlier this year.
Narcisse said in a statement that given his knowledge of the system, budget and current initiatives he would “hit the ground running.” He also said that he “would be eager to work with the EBR team to ensure a strong start to the 2025 school year.”
The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board held a special meeting on Tuesday, July 23, to talk about the superintendent search. A vote was taken to extend the application window.
The school board is expected to name its next superintendent during a special meeting on Wednesday, July 24.
