Sketch artist captures scenes from Democratic National Convention
CHICAGO — There are thousands of cameras at the Democratic National Convention throughout Chicago this week.
But one local artist is drawing on his raw talent to capture the action surrounding an historic convention.
Urban sketch artist Donald Colley offers a unique visual take on scenes from the DNC.
WGN’s Mike Lowe caught up with Colley on the convention floor. He even sketched a few scene of the WGN family.
The Democratic National Convention in Chicago concluded Thursday night with Vice President Kamala Harris accepting the party’s nomination to the land’s highest office.
