One show is the return of a previous hit, “I’m Not a Comedian … I’m Lenny Bruce,” the story of iconic stand-up comedian Lenny Bruce, directed by Chicago native Joe Mantegna and written and performed by Marmo. That opens Thursday (March 14) and runs through Friday, April 12.
The other Marmo show is a new one, “Bill W and Dr. Bob,” about the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous, directed by Marmo. That show opened March 8 and runs through Sunday, April 14.

Marmo dropped by the WGN-TV studios recently to talk about the shows and share a memory of the late Richard Lewis.
