The running joke was there's something in the water.

Now there's something precious in the arms of seven Illinois obstetrics nurses and an obstetrics tech who were pregnant at the same time. Scroll down and check out this Facebook page, where it was announced that all the babies have arrived:

"The Pavilion for Women had their own baby boom going........and it exploded!!!! We are loving all of our babies!"

The eight all work in labor and delivery or newborn care at Anderson Hospital's Pavilion for Women in Maryville, Illinois.

The first photo the hospital took of the pregnant co-workers was widely shared.

The nurses, Susan, Britaney, Ashley, Sara, Rebecca, Gwen, Michele and OB tech Stavania were all due within in four months of each other. The last baby was born in December.

The moms dubbed their newborns the "Elite 8."

"The Elite 8 are here and ready to rule the world!!!!!!!!" the post continued. "Meet Anna, Reese, Logan, Holden, Daniel, Charlotte, and Charlotte.....(#3, Jewel, is not pictured."

The moms told KSDK 5 that when they were pregnant they bonded over cravings. Now they connect over something common to all new mothers – a lack of sleep.
