St. Bernard Parish drug investigation leads to arrest

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Meraux man has been arrested in connection with a drug investigation in St. Bernard Parish.
Power outage reported in Metairie after vehicle hits pole
The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that 37-year-old Karnell Santacruz was arrested after the conclusion of a Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit investigation.
SBSO officials said Santacruz faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with the intent to distribute Xanax, possession with the intent to distribute heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Santacruz was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison.
