St. Claude Avenue Bridge to close for motor repair
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The St. Claude Avenue bridge will be closed to all traffic from Thursday evening to Friday morning for repair.
According to the Port of New Orleans, the closure is due to a problem with a main bridge motor, which electricians are currently working to fix.

The closure is expected to last from 6:30 p.m. on July 25 until 6:30 a.m. on July 26. During the closure, the bridge will remain raised for marine traffic.
Two available alternate routes include the Louisiana 39 Judge Seeber Bridge and the Florida Avenue Bridge.
