Repairs complete on St. Claude Avenue Bridge
UPDATE:
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Tuesday, Aug. 6, officials with the Port of New Orleans announced that repairs on the St. Claude Avenue Bridge have been completed and it will return to its normal operations.
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The St. Claude Avenue Bridge continues to be repaired and will now be operating on an altered closure schedule.
According to a information from the Port of New Orleans, the repair work is expected to continue through early in the week of Aug. 5.

The bridge will be open to vehicular traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Whenever the bridge is closed to vehicles, it will be raised to allow marine traffic through.
Detour signage has been posted. Alternate routes include the Louisiana 39 Judge Seeber Bridge and the Florida Avenue Bridge.
