Strand Center for the Arts presents two shows this weekend

Two exciting events from The Strand Center for the Arts are coming up today and tomorrow.

Tonight, the Adirondack Regional Theatre is showcasing Seussical Kids, a family-friendly adaptation of the Broadway show. The cast will also feature several local children from the Strand Center Summer Camp.

Seussical Kids is free to see and starts tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Theatre Manager Jamie Durivage described Seussical Kids as “kind of a mishmash of different Dr. Seuss stories. It’s a free show, very family oriented, obviously. Whoever wants to come down, come down.”

At The Strand Center for the Arts, Bo Bice hits the stage on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Bice has released a solo album and multiple other albums with his band.

“Tomorrow night we have Bo Bice, season 4 runner up to Carrie Underwood on American Idol That’s his claim to fame, really solid dude, americana kind of country-ish,” said Durivage.

Tickets to see Bo Bice on Saturday are on sale online or at The Strand’s box office.
