Suspect arrested for hit-skip that killed child: I-Team
WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has learned US Marshals have arrested a man wanted for the deadly hit and run of a child.
The Marshals arrested Donald Mynatt Wednesday morning in the 4800 block of E. 355 in Willoughby.

Mynatt was wanted for the hit and run last month in Cleveland that took the life of 7 year old Amir Prewitt.
The US Marshals and Cleveland Police had been searching for the suspect for days.
We’ve learned investigators found the suspect tied to multiple phones and vehicles.
Last week, the I-Team reported that Mynatt was already wanted in another case.
Records show his driver’s license was suspended.
Cleveland Police issued an arrest warrant for Donald Mynatt last Wednesday.
Investigators believe he ran over the child, turned around in a parking lot on Lakeshore, then took off.
The I-Team found an arrest warrant for Mynatt for not showing up in Cuyahoga County Court in a domestic violence case.
City Councilman Mike Polensek says he’s been dealing with Donald Mynatt and run-ins with the law since Mynatt was 15.

Meantime, the State says Mynatt’s driver’s license is suspended due to a child support issue.
His driving record also shows his license has been suspended multiple times before. He’s also been convicted in the past for hit and run.
