Sylvester Stallone's daughters say he hired Navy SEALS to train them before move to NYC: 'They were the real deal'
Sophia and Sistine Stallone spoke to the New York Post about their father, Sylvester.
They said Sylvester hired Navy SEALS to train them before they moved to New York City.
"Sophia and I got our asses whooped by these guys," Sistine said.
Sylvester Stallone made his daughters undergo military-style training before they moved to New York City.
Sylvester's eldest daughters, Sophia and Sistine, shared details about the grueling experience with the New York Post. The pair told the outlet their father felt uneasy about allowing them to move to the Big Apple, so he insisted they get self-defense training.
"Sophia and I got our asses whooped by these guys. They were the real deal," Sistine, 25, said. "And I'm not surprised my dad put us through something like this because our entire life we grew up with him doing these sort of military-esque, self-defense trainings."
Part of their training involved chasing and catching a chicken, which Sistine called "deceivingly hard."
"I went in there a little cocky, no pun intended," she said. "I got beat by the chicken."
During their conversation, Sophia recalled that their father has always been regimented and instilled that practice in their morning routine as children.
"It was a rigorous routine," Sophia, 27, said. "Every day at 6 a.m., he would make us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason, that combination … to bulk up."
"But then it was a lot of sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, clean and jerks," Sophia continued.
Sistine and Sophia said they've now lived in New York City for a year, but Sylvester still worries.
"I don't think he'll ever be less nervous," Sistine said. "He's like a classic, overprotective dad. Three daughters at an age where, you know, we're kind of all over the place and we're out and about."
The sisters' training and other hijinks will appear in season two of "The Family Stallone," which premieres on February 21 on Paramount+.
Sylvester has five children, including Sage — who died in 2012 — and Seargeoh with the actor Sasha Czack. He later welcomed his daughters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet with the former model Jennifer Flavin.
In May 2023, his three daughters spoke about Sylvester going "full Rambo" when they brought boys home. Rambo is Sylvester's famous gun-toting character who appeared in the eponymous movie franchise.
