Taskmaster star Mawaan Rizwan is set to make his West End debut in The Rocky Horror Show.

The comedian, who is also well-known for his BBC show Juice, will appear in the production alongside Jason Donovan for a short two-week run between September 6 and 20 at London's Dominion Theatre.

Rizwan will take on the role of the Narrator opposite Donovan's Dr Frank-N-Furter, and said he was "very excited" to appear.

“Rocky Horror was such a formative show for me as a performer, so I’m very excited and honoured to be a part of bringing it back," the comedian said. "I can’t wait for audiences to experience this joyously anarchic classic once again!”

The production also stars Connor Carson as Brad, Lauren Chia as Janet, Job Greuter as Riff Raff, Natasha Hoeberigs as Magenta/Usherette, Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli as Columbia, Morgan Jackson as Rocky and Edward Bullingham as Eddie/Dr Scott.

Also on board are Phantoms Ryan Carter-Wilson, Arthur Janes, Hollie Nelson, Erica Wild, Alex Hetherington and Stacey Monahan.

Meanwhile, back in May it was confirmed that Rizwan's series Juice will be back for a second season following its debut last year.

"Juice is back baby!" the star said of the recommission. "I can't wait to dive back into a magical world with magical people once again.

"Shoutout to everyone who's championed this beautiful bonkers show… and everyone who hated on the bowl cut."
