Ted Lasso season 4 gets promising update
Ted Lasso has received a promising season four update.
The Apple TV+ series follows an American football coach (played by Jason Sudeikis) who is hired to manage AFC Richmond, a struggling club in the Premier League.
After three successful seasons, the show ended in May 2023, with many fans clamouring for news of its return.
Now, Ted Lasso looks set to receive the greenlight for a fourth season, according to Deadline.

Warner Bros Television has picked up the options for three of the show's original cast members, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift.
Waddingham won acclaim as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Walton, while Goldstein played the club's captain and later assistant coach Roy Kent. Swift notably starred as the timid director of football operations Leslie Higgins.
The studio is also expected to make new deals with cast members whose SAG-AFTRA contracts had previously expired, including lead actor Sudeikis.
Digital Spy has reached out to representatives for Sudeikis for comment.

The news comes after several stars and producers intimated that the show could return in the future, with co-creator Bill Lawrence the latest to fuel the rumours.
In a recent interview with Collider, the producer revealed that he'd "go nuts" if another season was approved, but explained that it would only go ahead if Sudeikis was up for returning.
"Groupthink sometimes happens, even without talking to each other," he said. "Every actor, actress, writer, producer on that show – [we didn't get] together and decide this was the message – loved the experience.

"As fans, we'd all kill if it was going again, but everybody would say the same thing, which is: whatever Jason feels like doing and whatever his decision is, we're all down with it. Not only is he the star, he's the head writer.
"He's also the dude whose life just has to be completely overhauled and moved to a foreign country with young children. It's a big deal. So, as a fan, if someone's like, 'Oh, it's gonna happen again,' I'll go nuts. As a partner, I'm down for whatever he wants to do."
Ted Lasso is streaming in its entirety on Apple TV+.
