Teen charged in Kansas City restaurant owner’s killing appears in court
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There’s a somber tone at Kansas City’s Irish Fest. A prominent figure at the annual festival was killed this week.
Two juveniles are in custody, one of whom appeared in court on Friday.

The 15-year-old suspect is facing a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of 44-year-old Shaun Brady.
Brady was shot and killed Wednesday night behind his restaurant near E. 63rd Street and Rockhill Road.
The teen suspect will remain in custody until his next hearing on Sept. 25.

The second teen suspect arrested was charged Friday in Jackson County with second-degree murder.
