Teen killed, man wounded in Uptown New Orleans shooting
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy dead and a man wounded in Uptown New Orleans on Monday, July 29.
One dead, two wounded in Marigny shooting: NOPD
The NOPD reported that 15-year-old Tyvien Jirouard and a 25-year-old man were shot in the 2100 block of Soniat Street around 5:28 p.m. The shooting was initially reported to have occurred in the 5100 block of Lasalle Street.
They were taken to a hospital, where Jirouard later died.
The man was last reported to be in stable condition.
Arrest made following deputy-involved shooting, chase in Metairie: JPSO
According to the NOPD, investigators are “trying to determine if the 25-year-old man was the intended target.”
