Tennessee Voices, Episode 329: Gerry Andrady and Adam Peebles, Hatch
The emergence of COVID accelerated advances in and consumer adoption of telehealth.
As the pandemic subsided, in-person health care visits have come back, but many patients have enjoyed the convenience and accessibility that virtual technology grants them.
On this episode of the Tennessee Voices video podcast, I spoke with health care entrepreneurs Gerry Andrady and Adam Peebles on trends, opportunities and challenges in this new post-pandemic era.
Andrady is CEO of Hatch and Peebles is the company's president and chief growth officer. Hatch is a healthcare technology company that specializes in patient coordination and system optimization.
Andrady and Peebles said patient demand for better technology solutions is high. Among the challenges health care providers face is retaining patients and ensuring they make their appointments with specialists, if needed, because the wait can be several weeks.
Hatch is working on different ways to improve the patient experience and ensure that they connect with their physicians and nurses, as need, to better their health outcomes.
The Nashville area's position as a key global health care center makes the work health technology enterprises do especially important.
The conversation with Andrady and Peebles also provided some book recommendations for the viewer: "Pacific Crucible" by Ian W. Toll and the "Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling.
