These Delpozo Dresses Are Insanely Stunning IRL
Delpozo’s spring 2017 show was titled “Luminosity,” and according to the label’s creative director, Josep Font, the collection was inspired by Spain’s “master of light” painter Joaquín Sorolla and Korean-American artist Soo Sunny Park’s installations. Read on for an inside look at one of New York Fashion Week’s most unique shows.

#WantItNow: White is once again proving to be the hue of choice for next spring (shocking), but a look as striking as this is hard to come by. The ribbons on the sleeves of the knitted top and the voluminous skirt look great worn together, and individually they are still standouts.

Trend alert: Volume plays a huge part in Delpozo’s DNA, and this collection combined with the airiness of the fabric is no exception. The exaggerated sleeves on dresses, tops, and coats are reminiscent of a calla lily and make the look more sculptural and modern than just a classic gown.

Walk this way: Silver-and-yellow embroidered pointy sandals are as pretty on the feet as Delpozo’s clothes are on the body!

The playlist: The second designer this morning to have live music at a show, Delpozo had a classical pianist play for the models gliding down the runway, and very pleasant it was, too.

Future red carpet fave: Delpozo’s demicouture silhouette and style is the perfect gown for Hollywood, royalty, or fashion bloggers thirsty for some street style snaps! This combination of yellow-and-white mullet top paired with trousers is the new style of eveningwear, and we are already sending signs out to Amal Clooney to wear this look!
