Power restored for thousands in Angola, Eden

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Power has been restored for thousands in the area of Angola, Eden, Evans, Brant and Farnham.

Over 9,000 National Grid customers were affected earlier Friday night. Almost 3,000 of those were in the Eden, Angola, Evans area while nearly 6,000 were without power in Brant and Farnham

A spokesperson with National Grid told WIVB News 4 that the outages were related to equipment failure at a substation.
