Titusville mayor race headed to November runoff election

Vickie Conklin and Andrew Connors will face off against each other in a November runoff election to determine the next Titusville mayor.

Conklin and Connors advance to the November election after they were the top two vote getters in Tuesday’s primary election. Had one of the candidates gotten a majority of the votes, that person would have secured the mayor’s seat.

Candidate Joe Robinson was knocked out of the race when he came in third place with 21.38% of the votes.

Conklin received 43.21% of the votes and Connors got 35.40%
