Upon arrival, officials say three semi trucks and four other vehicles were involved in the crash with two of the semis and one of the other vehicles being on fire.

Aid from 26 surrounding agencies and specialty units including the Kenosha Fire Department’s P19 “ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) Truck” and water tenders from Kanasville and Salem Lakes was requested.

As a result of the crash, fire crews were said to have found that fuel had leaked from the vehicles involved in the collision and ignited before finding its way to the storm drains and starting a large vegetation fire in the ditch on the side of I-94.
