The building is in the 400 block of City Park Avenue. It’s been a blighted eyesore for years. A little over a year ago, the city began the renovation work to transform it into a new headquarters for the NOFD.
According to police, the suspect burglarized the building on Saturday, Sept. 7, and again the next day. He’s accused of stealing $5,000 worth of tools. Police released some security camera footage from the area that shows some of what happened.
