In an email sent just before 1:30 p.m., police said motorists could expect delays and lane closures until the scene was cleared.
An Ohio Department of Transportation traffic camera showed drivers were routed off the highway at the East 260th Street exit.
The road was completely reopened just after 3 p.m., Houser said.
