Trick Trick, Rick Ross, Sada Baby and more unite for voters in Pontiac: How to get free tix

Big names in rap music will convene in Pontiac on Tuesday to support getting out the vote in this November’s election.

The Our Community First Concert Series will be held at The Crofoot (1 S. Saginaw St.); doors open at 4 p.m. Death Row Records, Harry O and iHeartMedia are behind the event, which will present a star-studded lineup featuring performances from Rick Ross, Trick Trick, Rob49, Payroll Giovanni, Sada Baby, DJ Quik, Dej Loaf and more

The concert will be hosted by Detroit’s Jackpot the Juice and Polo Frost and will focus on getting out the vote and pushing all candidates up and down the ballot to commit to the community.

“The Community First Concert Series” is about more than just music,” said Death Row co-founder Michael “Harry O” Harris, “it’s about empowering our community to take action. As we come together to celebrate hip-hop, we also need to recognize the importance of using our voices at the polls. We want to push candidates to not just make promises but to commit to real change in our neighborhoods.

“This concert is a call to action for everyone to get out and vote, to demand accountability and to ensure that our community’s needs are heard and met.”

Tickets are $35 and are available at ticketweb.com; the first 1,000 buyers to use the code COMMUNITY will receive their tickets for free.
