Trump calls Harris surrogate Mark Cuban ‘a loser’
Former President Trump took a swipe at Mark Cuban on Saturday, calling the billionaire who has hit the campaign trail for Vice President Harris “weak and pathetic.”
“Mark Cuban is a Loser. Wouldn’t take his phone calls anymore while at the White House, and he went rogue,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Saturday afternoon. “A weak and pathetic “bully,” he’s got nothing going. Really low clubhead speed, a total non-athlete!”
On Friday, Cuban appeared on “Real Time With Bill Maher” and criticized the Republican presidential nominee’s recent rhetoric about using the military against his political opponents.
“It’s a new season of The Sopranos,” Cuban said. “It’s crazy. I mean, it really is.”
Cuban has campaigned in several states on behalf of Harris, leading “Business Leaders For Harris” alongside LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman. On Thursday, he rallied with the Democrat in Wisconsin.
“You know, in my career I’ve learned a lot about business, including how tariffs work. Now let me just ask you a question, do you all know anyone who doesn’t know how tariffs work? All right I’ll give you a hint—that other guy,” Cuban said in Green Bay, taking a jab at former President Trump over his tariff proposals.
In 2015, Cuban said Trump was “the best thing to happen to politics in a long time,” but supported former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016.
During a Monday interview with MSNBC, Cuban told anchor Rachel Maddow that business leaders are scared to speak out against Trump.
“Well, you don’t hear a whole lot of CEOs, other than Elon Musk, particularly of large companies, coming out and supporting him, for that very reason,” Cuban added.
