Trump campaign: Harris will be ‘even worse’ than Biden
Former President Trump’s top campaign advisers have come out swinging against Vice President Harris shortly after President Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed her to replace him.
In a statement, Trump campaign advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said that Harris will be “even worse” than Biden and that she has been his “enabler in chief”.
The email was sent immediately after Biden threw his support behind her, throwing the election into uncharted territory.
“They own each other’s records, and there is no distance between the two,” the Trump campaign added. “Harris must defend the failed Biden Administration AND her liberal, weak-on-crime record in [California].”
The letter further pushed back on Biden’s decision to stand down, saying he “could not” take himself out of a campaign for president and still remain in the White House.

LaCivita and Wiles added that “Biden is a national security threat in great cognitive decline and a clear and present danger to every man, woman, and child in our country.”
“The question then to Kamala Harris is simple: knowing that Joe Biden withdrew from the campaign because of his rapidly deteriorating condition, does Harris believe the people of America are safe and secure with Joe Biden in the White House for six more months?” they asked in the email.
Biden, who at 81 is the oldest sitting U.S. president, has faced intense criticism over his age and fitness for office.
Harris says she intends ‘to earn and win this nomination’ after Biden drops out
Their statement came shortly after Trump on Sunday ripped into Biden for his announcement he would drop his reelection bid, warning the nation will “suffer greatly” as a result of his rival’s one term in office.
“Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was!” Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social.
Republicans gathering in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention had already started attacking her signaling how they would go after if she were to replace Biden.
Harris on Sunday said she intends to earn and win the Democratic presidential nomination after Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed her as his successor.
