Trump unsure about second debate with Harris after Tuesday night's match up

Former President Donald Trump told Fox News on Wednesday that he’s not sure he wants a rematch the morning after his less-than-stellar debate performance against Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’d be less inclined to because we had a great night. We won the debate. We had a terrible, a terrible network,” Trump said.

But while Trump said he wasn’t sure he wanted another debate, his advisor, Jason Miller, told CNN that the former president would attend the NBC debate on Sept. 25.

Trump says he won “rigged” debate, Fox News opinion writer says otherwise

Trump told Fox News on Wednesday morning that he believed he won Tuesday’s debate against Harris. He claimed that the debate had been “rigged” and argued the ABC News moderators who worked to fact-check the former president in real time was evidence.

“I thought I did a great job; it was three-on-one. I thought I did a great job,” Trump said.

ABC News moderators David Muir and Lindsay Davis fact-checked Trump’s baseless claims about the 2020 election, migrants, and abortion from the stage during Tuesday’s debate.

“It’s pretty clear to me that on Tuesday night, Vice President Kamala Harris won what may be the only debate between herself and former President Trump,” wrote Doug Schoen, a Fox News columnist.

Wall Street futures dipped on Wednesday as investors increased the odds of Harris winning the U.S. presidency following the first presidential debate.Reuters contributed to the reporting of this story.
