Two arrested after Marshall ‘drive-by style’ shooting

MARSHALL, Texas (KETK) – The Marshall Police Department said that two people were arrested after a “drive-by style” shooting happened on Thursday.

According to Marshall PD, officials received a call about from someone who said they were shot at in the 1200 block of East Bowie Street around just after midnight on Thursday. Officers responded to the call but discovered no one there was injured.

Abdiel Vences, 18, and Jordan Hernandez, 17, were identified as suspects in connection to the shooting and arrested. They’re both currently being held in the Harrison County Jail on the following charges:

Vences was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, engaging in organized criminal activity, failure to identify/giving false/fictitious information and possesion of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Hernandez was charged with organized criminal activity and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
