Two killed in south Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two people are dead after a shooting Tuesday morning in south Columbus.

A police dispatcher said they received a call just before 10 a.m. regarding a possible shooting near the 1200 block of Seymour Avenue in the area of Deshler Park. Officers arrived and found two people inside a house with gunshot wounds.

According to police, one of the victims was identified as 45-year-old Darrell Walker. The identity of the second victim has not been released.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene at 10:06 a.m. A police dispatcher said a woman went to the house to check on a man living there and found him on the ground with a gunshot wound. The house had a broken window in the back, according to a dispatcher.
