Two Rivers Police clarify more information on vehicle of interest, AMBER Alert for Elijah Vue reaches its third week
TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) – The search for missing three-year-old Elijah Vue has reached its third week, and officials with the Two Rivers Police Department have provided another update on the vehicle of interest they’re currently in possession of.
Chief Ben Meinnert confirmed that Elijah Vue has still not been found, but law enforcement all over the state and the FBI, DCI, and DNR are assisting in searching rural areas of Manitowoc County.

On Monday, Chief Meinnert requested the public’s assistance by reviewing surveillance footage regarding the vehicle of interest. The car is a four-door Nissan Altima, beige in color, bearing Wisconsin registration beginning with “A” and ending with “0.”
To clarify, the Two Rivers Police Department says Jesse Vang and Katrina Baur are not the vehicle owners.
“Our interest is not with the current owner of the vehicle, only in the footage captured on February 19, between 2:00 and 9:00 p.m.
Authorities continue looking for a breakthrough in finding Elijah Vue, and the AMBER Alert remains active. Law enforcement is reminding residents that information leading to the discovery of Vue or the arrest and charging of the individual(s) responsible for his disappearance may now be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000 from Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers.

The FBI is also offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to the location and return of Elijah Vue and/or the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in his disappearance.
