New updates, closures announced for Buck O’Neil Bridge construction
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Closures have been extended and updated once again for construction on the new Buck O’Neil Bridge.
From Wednesday, Aug. 28 to Friday, Aug. 30, crews will close 3rd Street at Broadway Blvd. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Arrowhead offering new food items for 2024 season
The ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-35 will be closed for repair and rehabilitation from through mid-September.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, it was initially scheduled to last until August after updates released in June.
The bridge is expected to be completed by December of 2024. Construction began on the project in July of 2021.
