Urbana looking for community input on new comprehensive plan

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — If you have an opinion on how Urbana could be a better place to live, the city wants to hear it.

The city is hosting a meeting to develop its Imagine Urbana comprehensive plan. City officials will go over what they want to see during the next 20 years, including policies, goals and fixes for city problems.

Officials are inviting the community to come and share their feedback and ideas in order to create a perfect plan for the next two decades.

Danville invites community to pedestrian safety meeting tonight

“We heard from people, and now these meetings, we’ve got six meetings coming up starting tonight,” said Kevin Garcia, Urbana Principal Planner. “This is our chance to really hear from people and for them to let us know if we got it right. “

The meeting will take place at 25 O’Clock Brewing Company from 6 to 7 p.m. People who are unable to make it can submit a response by clicking here.
