Vegetables and guacamole recalled from NE Ohio stores

(WJW) – More products are being added to a massive produce recall.

JFE Franchising Inc. of Houston, Texas, is recalling a variety of products because they may be contaminated with listeria.

It’s linked to the produce recall at Aldi and Walmart.

Recall on produce items sold at Walmart, Aldi

This recall affects a variety of chopped vegetables and guacamole that were sold at Kroger stores in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Listeria can cause fatal infections in people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms for healthy people could include fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

The recall includes the following products that were packed between July 6-19, 2024.

• SNOWFRUIT Guacamole Chunky Medium – UPC 639123880161 – 14oz Container

Risk level issued as part of ongoing coffee recall
