Vehicle strikes ‘half dozen’ other vehicles in overnight Buffalo crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A vehicle struck “at least a half dozen” other vehicles, which left two people injured, in an overnight crash Saturday in Buffalo, according to police.

Officials said the crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. on the 400 block of East Amherst Street.

The two people hurt were transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Buffalo police said the driver of the striking vehicle is in custody.
