Vice President Harris to campaign in Wilkes-Barre on Friday

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Following the much-anticipated debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump, Vice President Harris will be making a campaign stop in Wilkes-Barre to rally voters on Friday, September 13.

Details of the visit will be released in the coming days.

This is just one stop of many in swing states across the country to promote the “New Way Forward” Campaign.

Vice President Harris will be touching on a variety of topics, including a federal ban on price gouging on food, capping the cost of prescription drugs, ending the country’s affordable housing shortage, and her vision for strengthening our middle class.

In a statement put out by the campaign, Harris-Walz campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler says “With early voting about to begin and less than 60 days until Election Day, our campaign will take the vice president’s message directly to the voters wherever they are.”
