VIDEO: Car fire, heavy smoke on Valley View Bridge
(WJW) – A car fire was to blame for traffic delays along the Valley View Bridge early Tuesday morning.
SkyFOX was over the scene shortly before 7 a.m. as FOX 8’s Patty Harken reported she saw the driver safely exit the vehicle.

However, the burning car, located along the eastbound lanes of I-480 was causing traffic to back up as thick black smoke made it difficult for other drivers to see, reported Harken.
Fire crews quickly arrived and were able to extinguish the fire. You can see several pictures from the scene in the slideshow below:

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the scene has since cleared and traffic is moving again along the interstate.
