'The View's Joy Behar Suggests New Slogan for Kamala Harris Following Donald Trump's Bold Claim
Fans of The View can always count on the talk show's hosts to give their unfiltered opinions on politics, and they definitely didn't hold back when it came to a set of controversial comments made by Donald Trump.
In a recent interview with The Atlantic, retired General John Kelly—who was White House chief of staff during the Trump administration—said the former president expressed a desire for the "kind of generals that Hitler had" and “used the terms suckers and losers to describe soldiers who gave their lives in the defense of our country."
According to the same article, Trump specifically made disparaging comments about a slain Mexican soldier after receiving a bill for the woman's funeral (which he previously offered to pay).

On the Wednesday, Oct. 23 episode of The View, the hosts addressed Trump's remarks, according to TV Insider.
“I just can’t believe that for four years, people have been warning about this," said Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former White House spokesperson. "General John Kelly was somebody who was highly regarded by everyone in Trump’s West Wing. He was seen by even the most loyal [allies] as a steadying force, and the fact that Trump’s defenders are instead choosing to impugn a four-star general to defend a politician, I think, shows that there’s a cravenness and unwillingness to ever stand up for what’s right.”

“I don’t even know what to say anymore,” Joy Behar admitted. “If people still support this fascist pig, then I don’t know what else to say. I really don’t. It’s like, how many times do we have to hear him say that?”
After Sunny Hostin pointed out that Trump's campaign refuted Kelly's claims, Whoopi Goldberg argued that audience members could easily find evidence supporting the former general's accounts.
“Look it up. The information is there," Goldberg said.
Behar took Goldberg's suggestion as inspiration for a possible Harris campaign slogan.
“I think Kamala Harris should use that: ‘Look it up.’ ‘We won’t go back,’ and ‘Look it up,'" she said.
