Viral video: Turkey attacks car on Boston street

BOSTON (WJW) – A large turkey decided to start a fight with a car in Boston, and the video of its attack is going viral.

A Boston woman was shocked when she learned a turkey had caused significant damage to her car.

According to the video post on TikTok, a neighbor actually caught and recorded the turkey’s attack, leaving a note for the car’s owner saying, “Hi! I live across from where your car is parked and I just watched (and recorded) a massive turkey attack your car for over 15 minutes! It looks pretty scratched up. I tried to scare it away but it ignored me.”

Alicia Mastroianni, the owner of the vehicle posted a TikTok with the neighbor’s video and photos showing the damage.

The caption of the video said, “Moves to Boston… Gets Car Attacked by a Turkey… was not on my list of things to be prepared for in the city.” She also tagged several auto insurance companies and media outlets.

The video shows the turkey pecking at the car and leaving scratches, with the audio saying in part, “Oh, no no no no no.” The turkey was also caught flying up and kicking at the driver’s side window.

The Massachusetts Environmental Police said the turkey most likely saw its reflection in the car’s exterior and perceived it as a threat, according to WBZ-TV.
