VP Kamala Harris set to visit Bucks County on Wednesday. What we know
(This story was updated to add new information.)
Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign in Bucks County on Wednesday.
While the campaign advisory released Tuesday did not confirm the location, it looks like the presidential candidate will visit Washington Crossing Historic Park in Upper Makefield.
Preparations were underway at the park Tuesday. Scores of workers were installing white tents and setting up chairs for the event. The visit comes two days after former President Donald Trump campaigned in nearby Oaks, Montgomery County on Monday.
This is Harris' 11th visit to swing state Pennsylvania, according to the campaign. At one time she was vetting Gov. Josh Shapiro as a running mate, but choose Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota.
It wasn't clear if the public is invited to Wednesday's event, or if it's invited party members only. No information was put out by the campaign on where tickets could be obtained by the public. The Harris campaign said in a press release only that the Bucks County event would be "afternoon."
A request for more information was sent to campaign advance team member Chloe Johnston, but it was not immediately returned Tuesday morning.

Harris, Trump battle for votes in Pennsylvania, purple Bucks County
Harris, a Democrat, and Trump, a Republican, are locked in a tight race in Pennsylvania, and Bucks County is considered key to winning the state.
The campaign sent a press release early Tuesday afternoon stating why the Harris campaign is concentrating on the Pennsylvania suburbs with more than 450 staff working from 50 offices to knock on 1 million doors seeking votes.
“Trump’s ‘weakness in the suburbs, means that for him to actually win, he has to double and triple down on his base in the reddest counties in the state ... And so we are going on offense and going to places where he thinks he has a strength and competing,’” the campaign said in the release, quoting Brendan McPhillips, a senior adviser to Harris’ Pennsylvania campaign.
The suburban collar counties of Philadelphia collectively make up a little over 3 million, or about 21%, of Pennsylvania’s almost 9 million registered voters, according to voter data from the Pennsylvania Department of State updated on Oct. 7.
Unlike Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties, Bucks County is the only Philadelphia suburb where Republicans outnumber Democrats, albeit by a very thin margin of less than a percentage point difference between them.
Out of 486,740 voters in Bucks County, Republicans make up about 41.6% of voters while Democrats make up about 41% of voters. Democrats lost their voter advantage over the GOP for the first time in at least a decade in July.
